01Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Made on Stet LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Stet™, the website at madeonstet.com, and the related tools and services (together, the "Service"). The short version of the part people care about most: we do not sell your personal information.

02Information we collect

• Email address. Used to create and verify your account, deliver your proofs, and send service messages.
• Text and reference images you submit. Processed by The Stet Press™ — our proprietary pipeline, which uses third-party AI image models — in order to render your output.
• Generated proofs. Stored so you can access the images you have made.
• Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive payment status and limited details (such as card brand and last four digits) — we never receive or store your full card number.
• Technical information. IP address (used for rate limiting and abuse prevention), approximate region, browser type, and basic request logs; plus a session cookie that keeps you signed in.

03How we use information

We use the information above to operate the Service: verifying accounts, generating and delivering proofs, processing payments and credits, preventing fraud and abuse, fixing problems, and communicating with you about your account. If you joined the proof list, we may email you about Stet's launch and updates; you can unsubscribe from those at any time.

04How information is shared

We share information only with the service providers needed to run Stet:

• Stripe, to process payments;
• Third-party AI model providers, which process your submitted text and reference images to render your output;
• Infrastructure providers (such as Cloudflare), which host the Service and store data on our behalf.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

05Cookies

Stet uses a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on the Service.

06Data retention

We keep account information, proofs, and transaction records for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion as described below.

07Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information — including encrypted connections, encrypted storage of service credentials, and access controls. No online service can guarantee perfect security, and you use the Service with that understanding.

08Children

The Service is for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

09Your choices & rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time and honor requests as required by applicable law. Note that some records (for example, payment records) may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons even after a deletion request. Service emails (such as verification links) are part of operating your account; marketing emails always include an unsubscribe.

10Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
